| Notes | A woman (Bancroft) has been married twice and has six children. She is now onto her third husband (Finch) and has another child by him. He is a screenwriter who has some success and she has to stay at home looking after the children and him. Feeling utterly trapped she has a nervous breakdown. Her husband has affairs with other women and then a friend of the husband moves in with them. Neither of which helps her situation. Well acted with Bancroft's depression and breakdown treated seriously. Though she recovers there is no simple solution and the situation which caused her condition is not resolved.
