Title | Madness of King George, The (1994) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Mental | Country | UK/USA | Length | 107 | Genre | Historical | Rating | 5 | Director | Nicholas Hytner
| Cast | Nigel Hawthorne Helen Mirren Amanda Donohoe Rupert Everett
| Notes | The title says all. George, the one who lost us that meagre colony to the west becomes increasingly mentally unstable. By the time of his death in 1820 he was blind and insane. Some interesting medical diagnosis included; his medical records suggest his madness was caused by porphyria, a metabolic imbalance. A serious, entertaining and brilliantly acted film.
