Title | I Never Promised You a Rose Garden (1977) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Mental Schizophrenia Suicide | Country | USA | Length | 96 | Genre | Hospital drama | Rating | 3 | Director | Anthony Page
| Cast | Kathleen Quinlan Bibi Andersson Ben Piazza Lorraine Gary Michael McGuire
| Notes | A teenage girl with schizophrenia undergoes cure by being motivated to succeed by her psychiatrist. There is sharp medical detail as she is committed to mental hospital after suicide attempt. There's also a good cast who are convincing in their roles. However what led to her suicide attempt is not made clear. I have reservations about stories which label people as schizophrenic and then claim to have cured them. From novel by Joanne Greenberg.
