Title | David and Lisa (1963) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Mental (schizophrenia) | Country | USA | Length | 94 | Genre | Romance | Rating | 2 | Director | Frank Perry
| Cast | Keir Dullea Janet Margolin Howard da Silva
| Notes | B/W. Two mentally disturbed teenagers find romance while living in a mental hospital. I remember enjoying this film when I was a teenager. I'm unsure I would now. I think I wouldn't be convinced by its story that love will 'cure' mental illness. A well meaning, independent production whose air of realism might now be seen as fantasy and somewhat pretentious. But the main characters are well acted. Remade as TV Film in 1998.
