| Title | Cracker Factory, The (1979) (TV Film) | | Alternative/Original Title | | | Disability | Mental Alcoholism | | Country | USA | | Length | 100 | | Genre | Drama | | Rating | 3 | | Director | Burt Brinckeroff
| | Cast | Natalie Wood Perry King Peter Haskell Vivian Blaine Juliet Mills Marian Mercer Shelley Long
| | Notes | Natalie Wood is much better than one might expect portraying an alcoholic housewife who is suicidal and in and out of mental hospital. She projects a vulnerability which allows us to sympathise with her character. Overall the film is bleak and not greatly entertaining but thorough and elucidating about her condition. On this basis I would recommend the film though it may be dated. From the novel by Joyce Rebeta-Burditt.
