| Notes | Biography of French sculptress, Camille Claudel who initially considered obsessed with her art is later diagnosed as mentally ill. With players like Adjani and Depardieu (as Auguste Rodin) one would expect some light thrown on the subject but the critics haven't thought so. Camille was an independent woman, frowned upon at the time and this may have contributed to her condition. The last thirty years of her life were in a 'madhouse'. And perhaps worse her work today is hardly known compared with Rodin, one of whose mistresses she was.
