| Notes | B/W, Silent The parents of a prince want him to marry for money but he falls for a peasant girl. Meanwhile his father has arranged for him to marry the 'clubfooted' daughter of a rich corn plaster manufacturer. Of course all goes well (though maybe not for the rich man's daughter). Because this is a silent film and highly stylised many people will find it hard going. The disability of the intended is simply an extra contrast to the beauty of the peasant girl. Not very admirable but that was 1927. Mind you, have things changed?
