| Notes | I remember queuing to see this at the university film club. The film wasn't given a certificate so it couldn't be shown in cinemas (more I think because of its lack of morality than its violence). It is an extremely violent film but I don't know how it would rate today. The living room of the killer, where everything appeared to be made from the bones of his victims, is such a 'work of art' it distances one from the reality of the killings. It's included here because one of the five young people who are potential victims is in a wheelchair. Similar in tone and production to the films of George Romero though Hooper went on to make Poltergeist. Have a look at a recent review at: http://www.hodgsonw.freeserve.co.uk/
