| Notes | A Vietnam Vet (Special Forces) suddenly realises 20 years on there is something in his past that he needs to find out. He walks into his business Tagget Electronics dragging his left leg and his left arm hanging limply. In the production area rows of women sit in wheelchairs assembling computers parts. He comes up to a man also in a wheelchair and asks how things are going. At intervals there are flashbacks, difficult to decrypt, of his being tortured in Vietnam. In his mind there is the name of a street in Hong-Kong and he must discover what this means. He has a meeting with a British journalist who was with M.I.6. But he gets little from him. Afterwards the journalist phones M.I.6 wanting to get back on the payroll. The answer is that he is brutally killed by a woman at their zoo rendezvous. Switch to physio-therapy which our man and others get courtesy of the government. But he also has sessions of hynosis. In a trance the doctor hits him hard on his paralysed arm and tells him that "memory is pain". When he arrives home there is the British woman agent waiting for him. Her intention is to get him to commit suicide. There's a struggle between them during which he appears to use his disabled arm and leg. She comes off worse of course. And when he gets hold of his C.I.A. file and learns what has been done to him he starts on the road to recovery. His left arm is usable and he limps less. This recovery is very useful when he comes up against the heavy mob who are trying to prevent him finding out what is at the bottom of this mystery. A positive note is that he has sex with his attractive partner while he is still disabled.
