Title | Rocking Horse Winner, The (1949) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Limb | Country | UK | Length | 91 | Genre | Fantasy | Rating | 2 | Director | Anthony Pelissier
| Cast | Valerie Hobson John Howard Davies Ronald Squire John Mills
| Notes | B/W A boy discovers he is able to forcast the winning horses at races while he's riding his rocking horse. But his mother is greedy leading to her downfall. John Mills who plays Basset has a limp but I don't remember our being told why. This film, I think, has been over praised and people watching it today are likely to find D.H. Lawrence's short story doesn't fill an hour and a half on the screen.
