| Notes | N.B. this is not a picture about a disability. The guy has a broken leg. But he is in a wheelchair and it's a great picture. He's a pervert really (which is what his girlfriend calls him) watching his neighbours through binoculars. Since the room light is on nearly all the time he's doing this one wonders why the police haven't been called. But one suspends one's disbelief just as one accepts the broken leg is simply a plot device. Remade with Christopher Reeve in 1998 Plenty of criticism on Hitchcock at the excellent MacGuffin site http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~muffin/
