| | Notes | Burton is a great director (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands et al) but this film is a disappointment despite all the special effects . A satire on all things American, and in particular films like 'War of the Worlds'. Regrettfully this film goes way over the top and fails to realise most of the characters of which there are far too many. There are various separate stories and three locations, Washington, D.C., Kansas and Las Vegas. In Kansas a grandmother in a wheelchair is pushed around by her grandson.
