| | Notes | Yet another film based on a Stephen King story. Some are bad some are good. This is one of the bad ones. It's set in a laundry where the machine develops a life of its own true to the title. There is also a homicidal fridge which is not even plugged in. The boss of the factory (evil incarnate of course) walks with crutches and braces, and for good measure in the evil stakes he has a false eye. There is a sequel Mangler 2 (2001) which I haven't seen.
