| Notes | B/W. A man who is disabled sees a woman he fancies and sends a letter and photo to her. Afraid she won't like him because of his disability he sends a photo of a handsome colleague. Shocked when they meet she does learn to love him. But then has an affair with the handsome colleague. However all ends well. Filmed in 1928 with Pola Negri and in 1940 with Charles Laughton (Laughton's character thinks he's unacceptable because he's not good looking)
