Title | Duel in the Sun (1946) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Limb | Country | USA | Length | 130 | Genre | Western | Rating | 2 | Director | King Vidor
| Cast | Jennifer Jones Joseph Cotten Gregory Peck Lionel Barrymore Lillian Gish Herbert Marshall Walter Huston Butterfly McQueen
| Notes | A long sprawling western of the family conflict type. Awful acting overall (from those who can do better) with strange twists in the plot. The stubborn father (Lionel Barrymore) is in a wheelchair though at one point he is strapped to a horse. He's only in a wheelchair so the conflict of the film can be worked through his two sons. Barrymore was by then really in a wheelchair.
