| | Notes | Chaney plays a "crippled underling" in San Francisco's Barbary Coast underworld. The care and attention shown to him by the daughter of a man being blackmailed by the underworld's ruler "Queen Anne" revives his spirits. He falls for her but she is going to marry another. During the machinations of the underworld gang the woman is left disabled. Then the San Francisco earthquake kills the gang and Queen Anne. Chaney's character has his disability 'corrected' by surgery and faith. The woman is 'cured' too and it's a happy ending. Has been called "a cheap shocker".
