Title | Ride a Wild Pony (1976) | Alternative/Original Title | Born to Run | Disability | Limb wheelchair Braces | Country | Australia / USA | Length | ? | Genre | Drama | Rating | ? | Director | Don Chaffey
| Cast | Michael Craig Eva Griffith
| Notes | Steve Carroll writes: The other movie is an old Disney flick called "Ride A Wild Pony". It was apparently filmed in Australia. It is about a poor boy who gets a horse that ends up running away, and a disabled girl (Eva Griffiths) finds it, and with her father's ingenuity, ties it up to a carriage to make a more efficent mode of transportation outside the house than her wheelchair. After the boy realizes where the horse is he tries to take it back, and much of the movie deals with the fight over the horse. The girl is shown in braces much of the movie along with a wheelchair, and I have no idea if she really is disabled or not. Her disability is explained as a result of polio. She is strong and independent, and the movie does a good job of portraying a disabled child.
