Title | Crash (1996) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | General Limb Braces | Country | Canada | Length | 100 | Genre | Drama? | Rating | 3 | Director | David Cronenberg
| Cast | James Spader Holly Hunter Elias Koteas Deborah Unger Rosanna Arquette Peter MacNeil
| Notes | Much talked about film about sexual obsessives who are turned on by car crashes. Arquette plays a character who wears braces which attract a certain type of person. The trouble with waiting to watch a film on satellite you're sitting on about 2 years of hype before it arrives. The film is sexy but for me it's the wonderful Deborah Unger not Rosanna Arquette or Holly Hunter. It's also a film of ideas. The effort to explain these sometimes obscures and slows down the film. And not everyone is up to the intellectual load being carried. By the end you come away thinking that something important might have been said but you missed it. From the novel by J.G. Ballard.
