| | Notes | I saw this when it first came out and it was a disappointment. And I don't think it will have worn well. The story is of two farming families, one black, the other white, who are struggling to make a living. They co-operate to get the water to irrigate their fields. But they cause problems for a rich, white landowner who wants them out. He has a son with learning difficulties and uses him in his fight against the farmers.
