Title | Light in the Piazza (1962) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Learning difficulty | Country | UK | Length | 101 | Genre | Drama | Rating | 1 | Director | Guy Green
| Cast | Olivia De Havilland Rossano Brazzi Yvette Mimieux George Hamilton Barry Sullivan
| Notes | Mother attempts to marry off her daughter who has learning difficulties. This film is rated high elsewhere. I consider it badly acted (look at the cast), badly scripted (even though the writer is Julius Epstein) and just a glossy romance set in a beautiful location. Yvette Mimieux acts a beautiful woman with a mental age of ten following an accident during her childhood. She is totally inadequate in conveying this. From the novel by Elizabeth Spencer.
