Title | Taking Back Our Town (2001) (TV Film) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | General Asthma | Country | USA | Length | ? | Genre | True story | Rating | 3 | Director | Sam Pillsbury
| Cast | Laura Innes Ruby Dee Christopher Bauer
| Notes | The film is set in Louisana in an area where there is heavy industry. A Japanese firm plans to build a petro-chemical plant. A woman, one of whose children has asthma, begins a campaign to stop the building of the plant. Her husband works in an associated industry and the plant will bring jobs. After a long, hard battle the campaign succeeds. This is not a Julia Roberts vehicle (cf. Erin Brocovitch) but it's probably closer to the truth. While worthy it is a little dull.
