| | Notes | Language: German Lily Brest (Ingrid Caven) is a not very successful prostitute who has consumption. Her boyfriend (Fassbinder) loses everything she earns at the gambling tables. Then she finds a client called "the rich jew" who patronises her because she is a good listener. But her boyfriend thinks they are having some kind of perverted sex and leaves her. She turns to her parents but neither wants anything to do with her. Her father, still smarting after WWII, is a drag artist while her mother is in a wheelchair.
