| Notes | A daughter needs a heart transplant. A son whom the father hasn't seen for 7 or 8 years turns up on the doorstep with gunshot wounds. He offers his heart to his sister Emma if his father will help him. At this point things get complicated. The son has been involved in a kidnapping which went wrong with the victim being killed because they bound his mouth and his nose with tape. He wants his father to take the victim's place even though he knows the victim is to be killed. Even with John Hurt as the victim this sub-Tarantino thriller doesn't roll smoothly. Nearly everyone is shot so there are plenty of hearts to choose from.
