| Notes | A research chemist discovers a drug which makes people happy. Naturally it is a huge success but then side effects are discovered such as making its users comatose. There follows an ethical struggle between the chemists and the business people. Broad stroke satire on drugs industry. It's weird, explicit, women are played by men and it's mainly in bad taste. A young guy in a wheelchair called "Cancer boy" thanks the inventor for his product though not for himself but his parents who worrry too much. "There's no hope for me," he says and he has a brother born with his heart outside of his body. For me it was turgid, long winded with crude humour.
