| Notes | Hanks plays an advertising executive who has to spend more and more time looking after his father. The father (Gleason) has diabetes and because he lets things drift refusing treatment stands to one or both feet. In fact when he eventually goes into hospital he loses the toes and part of one foot. There's a pretty nasty shot of his feet where it looks like he has frost bite. Good performances especially from the three main leads.
