| | Notes | This is the biography of the novelist Iris Murdoch who was also a philosopher. She was married for 40 years to the university lecturer and critic John Bayley who stuttered early on. Apparently the depiction of the onset of Alzheimer's and her decline are well done. I should imagine the impact of the film will be more poignant if one is familiar with her novels.
