| Notes | Jacqueline du Pre was a cellist who married the pianist Daniel Barenboim. Both were world famous musicians. Jacqueline has a sister, Hilary, who though musical herself has opted for a quiet life in rural England with her husband. The sisters are very close but also rivals. When Jacqueline leaves her husband and goes to stay with her sister she sleeps with her sister's husband.
