| Notes | A literary critic being driven to interview a novelist is injured in a car accident leaving her brain damaged. Her friend who was driving is uninjured and carries on to the interview. Christina, the critic, is left ignored in hospital. But the daughter of the novelist takes an interest in Christina. This film is somewhat dogged in believing that the aspiration to realism absolves it of entertaining us. It is awkwardly told, and elliptical. We don't see the brain damaged Christina until 40 minutes into the film and then the film becomes more interesting. The hospital scenes are well done and we are shown the process of recovery and the importance of motivation and caring. The film is perhaps spoiled by the revenge ending.
