Title | As Good As It Gets (1997) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | General Asthma, Obsessive Compulsion Disorder | Country | USA | Length | 138 | Genre | Drama | Rating | 4 | Director | James L. Brooks
| Cast | Jack Nicholson Helen Hunt Greg Kinnear Cuba Gooding Jr. Shirley Knight
| Notes | Nicholson plays a romantic novelist with obsessive compulsion disorder. That's where you carry out meaningless repetitive actions and much hand scrubbing. He's also very rude to everyone, especially women. The only person who tolerates him is a waitress (Helen Hunt) who has a son with chronic asthma. He is redeemed and they fall in love. Hunt has long been underrated and here she shows what she can do. (She and Nicholson won Oscars).
