Title | Saratoga Trunk (1945) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Dwarf | Country | USA | Length | 135 | Genre | Crime | Rating | 1 | Director | Sam Wood
| Cast | Gary Cooper Ingrid Bergman Flora Robson Jerry Austin John Warburton Florence Bates
| Notes | B/W. You can have a white woman play a black maid (Flora Robson) but you can't have anything but a dwarf actor playing a dwarf. Jerry Austin, the dwarf actor, plays the manservant, Cupidon. This film about railroad robber barons is as phoney as Robson's black face. Difficult to imagine this happening in 1945 but also difficult to accept that the American army at this time was segregated. From the novel by Edna Ferber.
