Title | Man Without a Face, The (1993) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Facial disfigurement | Country | USA | Length | 114 | Genre | Drama | Rating | 2 | Director | Mel Gibson
| Cast | Mel Gibson Nick Stahl Margaret Whitton
| Notes | A facially disfigured teacher who has become a recluse helps a troubled young boy. Dull, tedious, pretentious. This is not to be compared with "Dead Poets' Society" or anything else of that ilk. Obviously Gibson has become so big nobody can tell him when to 'cut'. He clearly wants to tackle big, brooding parts. The signs were already there in 'Lethal Weapon'. Just let me add that the disfigurement is to one side of his face, the other profile looks beautiful. Ring any bells?
