| Notes | B/W. A couple rent a cottage for their honeymoon but then he is called away to war (WWI) before they can be married. He returns from the war to the cottage with a scarred face and the loss of use in his right arm. Thinking he won't be accepted he refuses to see his fiancee but slowly falls in love with the rather plain maid who works at the cottage. Her blind uncle plays the piano and preaches a positive view. And the couple appear to be 'cured' of her plainness and his injuries. And though the change has only been in their minds they find happiness. Sentiment somewhat overwhelms the message. From play by Authur Pinero. Also as a silent film in 1924
