| | Cast | Claudette Colbert Joel McCrea Mary Astor Rudy Vallee
| | Notes | B/W. Totally wonderful, crazy comedy with never a dull moment. Great acting all round (Sturges used a repertory of players). McCrea and Colbert are great, and Rudy Vallee is a revelation. Colbert, the wife, thinks her husband, McCrea, would do better without her and runs away to marry someone rich who will give money to her ex-husband to finance his invention. Early on we meet the rich Wienie King whose deafness is used to comic effect without I hope offending anyone.
