| Notes | The father of a deaf and speaking impaired daughter hires a man whose parents are also deaf and speaking impaired. He thinks the man's sensitivity to deafness will make him glad to marry his daughter. But the daughter already loves someone else who is also deaf and speaking impaired. Faced with the father's pressure they plan to commit suicide. Fortunately the man who was meant to be her husband discovers this and persuades them to persist and challenge her father.
