Title | Big Fix, The (1978) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Deaf | Country | USA | Length | 108 | Genre | Mystery | Rating | 3 | Director | Jeremy Paul Kagan
| Cast | Richard Dreyfuss Susan Anspach Bonnie Bedelia John Lithgow
| Notes | Set in the sixties Dreyfuss is a Jewish private eye who used to be a Berkeley (University of California) radical. He gets the job of finding out who is trying to slur a liberal candidate for the Californian governorship. Dreyfuss plays the private eye as witty and laid-back. And in a scene with the printer of some scurrilous flyers he uses the printer's hearing impairment for a bit of witty banter. Perhaps because of Dreyfuss's approach to his character we don't really get involved in the increasingly complicated plot.
