| Cast | Madonna Antonio Banderas Jonathan Pryce Jimmy Nail Victoria Sus
| Notes | Most people will have heard of Eva Peron, the charismatic and attractive first lady of Argentina in the 1940s. The story is good but the treatment dire. This film really is for aficionados of Madonna or Lloyd Webber, certainly not of Alan Parker. Remember Bugsy Malone, Fame, Pink Floyd-The Wall, The Commitments, that was Parker too. Despite being a feast for the eyes it's scraps for the ears and mind. I just wasn't engaged enough to watch it to the end. In the cinema I'd have walked out, on video I rewound. Eva Peron died aged 33 of cancer.
