Title | Terms of Endearment (1983) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Cancer | Country | USA | Length | 132 | Genre | Drama | Rating | 4 | Director | James L. Brooks
| Cast | Shirley MacLaine Debra Winger Jack Nicholson John Lithgow Jeff Daniels Lisa Hart Carroll Danny DeVito
| Notes | Two films in one. First a family comedy in which the neurotic MacLaine dallies with ex-astronaut Nicholson while her daughter Winger returns to her unfaithful husband. Then Winger gets cancer and the mood changes. MacLaine and Nicholson got the Oscars, Winger does the acting. Longish (the film covers a period of 30 years) but worthwhile in the end. A film about people rather than plot and action. From the novel by Larry McMurtry.
