| Notes | A policeman, Nishi, leaves his job on a stake-out to visit his wife who is in hospital terminally ill with leukemia. Her doctors tell him he should take her home because they can do nothing for her. On the same day his partner is shot in the back and paralysed. Nishi leaves the police force and borrows money from loan sharks so he can be with his wife in her final weeks. He also buys his partner, now in a wheelchair, some paints. Alongside these heart-warming moments there are some very violent scenes.
