| Notes | B/W A nerdish young man who has led an undistinguished life (what Chekhov would call a "non-enity") saves the life of a beautiful woman who is blind. Being the withdrawn person he is he runs away even though he fancies her. End of story. Not quite, because they meet again and form a relationship. This looks suspiciously like a blind woman doesn't deserve 'someone of signifance'. Though it is possible she discovers parts of him others haven't reached.
