Title | Change of Habit (1969) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Autism Stutter | Country | USA | Length | 93 | Genre | | Rating | ? | Director | William A. Graham
| Cast | Elvis Presley Mary Tyler Moore Barbara McNair
| Notes | Apparently not one of Elvis' best pictures though there are a couple of songs. He plays a doctor in the Washington Street Free Clinic (in New York). One of his patients is a teenage Hispanic boy who has a stutter. Another a young girl arrives at the clinic with the belief that she is deaf. Doc Elivis 'divines' that she is can hear and Michele, a speech therapist, says she is autistic and this is the result of being rejected. Just like a fortune teller Michele has already learned that the girl's mother abandoned her. The script is wayward to say the least and it is well worth reading the comments at IMDB.
