Title | Brother Carl (1971) | Alternative/Original Title | Broder Carl | Disability | Mental Autism | Country | Sweden | Length | 95 | Genre | Adult Drama | Rating | | Director | Susan Sontag
| Cast | Gunnel Lindblom Genevieve Page Keve Hjelm Laurent Tierzieff Torsten Wahlund
| Notes | Though made in Sweden this film is in English. Made by the well-know American essayist, Susan Sontage, who had made Duet for Cannibals in 1969 also in Sweden. From what I've read it won't be easy viewing. One gets the feeling this is Sontag doing Bergman (Ingmar). Two couples go to an island where they cause mayhem. One, an actress, attempts and fails to seduce another and kills herself. He in turn tries to seduce an underage girl who is autistic.
