Title | Inspector Gadget (1999) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Amputee VERY Minor | Country | USA | Length | 78 | Genre | Fantasy | Rating | 2 | Director | David Kellogg
| Cast | Matthew Broderick Rupert Everett Joely Fisher
| Notes | Broderick plays John Brown a security guard who dreams of being a police officer. He gets his chance when he's blown up by a Blofeldt type baddie and is put together by the pretty daughter of a murdered scientist. Thus he becomes a cyber police officer with his own gadget mobile. Despite the pleasant characters this is an amazingly silly movie which I think is acknowledged by the length which is only an hour and ten minutes (ignore the run time of 78 there are about 8 minutes of credits). The baddie played by a miscast Rupert Everett ( in the sense of what is a decent actor doing in this film). He loses a hand which is replaced by a variety of prosthetic hands (i.e. gadgets mainly).
