Woods is superb as the journalist drowning in his own sea of lies and deception. Among the crazy, anarchic goings-on is a serious picture of exploitation and brutality. In an early scene on their arrival in Central America we see a young boy who has lost both legs. And this is not Forest Gump he really has lost them.
