Title | Little Big Man (1970) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Blind Amputee | Country | USA | Length | 150 | Genre | Western | Rating | 5 | Director | Arthur Penn
| Cast | Dustin Hoffman Faye Dunaway Martin Balsam Richard Mulligan Chief Dan George Jeff Corey
| Notes | Wonderful film on a grand scale which is a piece of alternative history of the west. Recounted by a wizened 121 year old Dustin Hoffman it's a sort of liberal re-interpretation of familiar western myths. Little Big Man was present at all the right places. Fortunately it is told with much humour. Chief Dan George was introduced to a wider audience in this film (Clint Eastwood pinched his character for The Outlaw Josey Wales). Here he is blind and, with the bonus of being an Indian, very wise. There is also a character who has lost a hand and an ear and later loses a leg and an eye. This is the result of his con man activities.
