| Notes | You might idle the time away by spotting the rip-offs in this truly awful film. You can add Mad Max and Alien for starters. Guys wandering in some kind of red space desert (thanks to lighting and filters) collecting junk find a robot. They take their finds to a junk dealer. Now at this point I made a bet with myself there would be a dwarf actor in this film. And yes it was the junk dealer. The robot when reassembled goes on a killing spree. While most of the film appears to be set among the great unwashed living on the street there is an odd mix of low tech and high tech common to this type of film. One of the main guys who is dressed in designer rags has a hi-tech prosthetic hand. Overall it's dark and dirty and appears to be making some point about population growth and control.
