Title | Cattle Empire (1958) | Alternative/Original Title | | Disability | Blind Amputee | Country | USA | Length | 83 | Genre | Western | Rating | 3 | Director | Charles Marquis Warren
| Cast | Joel McCrea Gloria Talbott Don Haggerty Phyllis Coates
| Notes | The first scene reveals McCrea being dragged through the streets with a mob calling for his blood. It turns out that McCrea was a trail boss whose men caused havoc and injury in the town. One man has lost an arm, another a hand. But the worst injured is the town patriarch who was blinded yet it is he who comes to McCrea's rescue. Of course we know that good ole Joel is not going to be a baddy and so it turns out. The blindness and the loss of the hand are partially symbols of character deficiencies. Otherwise a routine western whose plot gets into a twist trying to portray McCrea as bent on revenge while not being irredeemably evil.
