Films involving Amnesia

Major films are those films which generally focus on Amnesia.
Minor Films are those in which Amnesia plays only a minor role or is used for comedy, thriller, horror purposes.

Most of the films in this category are minor.  The introduction of a character with amnesia is often tied in with some dire event in their past which is gradually revealed.  This is usually murder.  Another way in which amnesia is used as a plot device is to rekindle the lost romance between a husband and wife.
