| Notes | From what I have read this film is better than Philadelphia. There is no shock drama confrontation in the courtroom. Perhaps it can be compared to Kenneth Branagh's "Peter's Friends" (1992) except this film is about gay men. Over the course of 3 summer weekends at an isolated house eight men gather. One is blind, another is dying from AIDS. There are ups and downs, confessions, betrayals but no great upheavals. Seven of the original actors from the play are in the film. From the play by Terrence McNally.
