NotesWoman who attempted suicide aged 16 is released from mental hospital after 20 years of being in and out of hospital. The film is about her return to a normal life. TV films love a true story and they love those end credits informing us that so and so is now -- in this case -- a mental health administrator.. Marlo won an Emmy. The story of Marie Balter is surely worth telling but deserves better treatment.
