| Cast | Marlon Brando Teresa Wright Everett Sloane Jack Webb Richard Erdman Dorothy Tree
| Notes | B/W. A film to compare with "Born on the Fourth of July", "Coming Home", and "The Waterdance". Brando in a wheelchair can act the pants off others in an open-top Cadillac. One of the best studies of WWII veterans. Set mainly in the hospital where Brando is coming to terms with his disability alongside others who are paraplegic. His reactions are generally negative until the very end when his girlfriend brings him out of his depression. There is also discussion of the sexual problems facing these men. Many of the patients featured are genuine paraplegics.
